Wind Manufacturing Working Group

More than 1000 of Michigan’s manufacturers and component suppliers are uniquely positioned to meet the demand for the rapidly expanding wind power industry across the Midwest and around the world.

This working group leverages the capacity in Michigan for designing, engineering and manufacturing high-quality components to connect wind system developers with key manufacturers and supply chains. The group is sponsored by NextEnergy, the Michigan Public Service Commission, the Energy Office of the Michigan Department of Labor & Economic Growth, the Michigan Manufacturing Technology Center, and Western Michigan University.
