NextEnergy has introduced a versatile testing platform for alternative fuels into the heart of Detroit. The first such facility in the nation to be sited in a core urban environment, we provide a critical proving ground to validate emerging technologies, and to demonstrate the safety and viability of such an infrastructure in our communities.

Our facilities offer:

• Capability to deliver a broad range of alternative fuels – including hydrogen, bio and synthetic fuels, and more.
• Infrastructure to support fueling and testing of experimental vehicles.
• Test bays that can be fully integrated into our Microgrid Power Generation Pavilion.
• Infrastructure for testing of alternative fuel-dispensing technologies and storage systems.
