CHRIS RIZIK
PRESIDENT/CHAIRMAN
Founder, Partner and Board member of Ardesta, LLC.  Rizik has held numerous positions in technology and law in his work with Avalon Investments, Dickinson Wright PLLC and Pricewaterhouse Cooper.  Rizik serves in board/committee positions with several community
and charitable organizations including the Greater Detroit Chamber of Commerce and the Michigan Entrepreneur of the Year Program.    

ROBERT J. BUCKLER
VICE CHAIRPERSON
President and Chief Operating Officer for DTE Energy Distribution. Buckler has extensive experience in engineering, management, and customer and marketing services.  Buckler serves on Michigan Economic Development Foundation Board, the Greater Downtown Detroit Partnership, the Detroit Economic Growth Corporation, Detroit Renaissance and the Cranbrook Institute of Science.

RONALD J. GARDHOUSE
SECRETARY/TREASURER
NextEnergy Board member Ronald J. Gardhouse is the Chief Executive Officer and President of Microheat, Inc. Previously, he served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. Microheat is a leading supplier of windshield cleaning and deicing.technology. Mr. Gardhouse has more than 30 years of senior level experience in the automotive industry. He worked for DaimlerChrysler as a Vice President in a succession of senior level positions for more than 25 years including: President, Asia Pacific Operations; Assistant Corporate Treasurer; Deputy Managing Director, Chrysler, Mexico; and Assistant Corporate Controller. He began his career in public accounting with Deloitte & Touche. He received a M.B.A. from Michigan State University and a B.A. in Business Administrations from Eastern Michigan University and is a Certified Public Accountant.

DEBRA R. DANSBY, C.P.A.
Senior Vice-President and Chief Operating Officer of the Michigan Economic Development Corporation (MEDC). In her current role, she is responsible for the daily operations of the corporation and directly leads the Finance, Human Resource, Internal Audit and 21st Century Jobs Fund program administration. Specific areas of focus within the back-office teams include financial, strategic, and annual business planning, financial reporting, investment portfolio management, budget, audit, business process review, labor relations, payroll, benefits, intake, and leadership development. The 21st Century Jobs Fund team is engaged in the areas of technology transfer and commercialization, venture capitalization, entrepreneurship, and investment and loan strategies associated with the implementation of the 21st Century Jobs Fund.

Prior to joining the MEDC, Dansby held various roles over nine years with Accident Fund Insurance Company of America. Most recently, as the Strategic Affairs Liaison, she was responsible for the development and implementation of strategic and tactical plans, served as a spokesperson for the President and CEO and worked directly with the Chief Operations Officer to oversee daily operations of the business. During her nine years with Accident Fund Insurance Company of America, Dansby also had responsibility for the company's budget process, financial reporting, taxation, market research and project management. Dansby earned her Certified Public Accounting designation with Deloitte & Touche, LLP in 1996. Her diversified client base included both private and public sector clients. Industry representation included insurance, manufacturing and financial institutions.

Dansby earned a Bachelor of Arts in accounting from Hillsdale College.

MICHAEL A. BOULUS, PH.D
Executive Director, Presidents Council, State Universities of Michigan. Boulus has been involved in education for more than 30 years.  He has held positions with Michigan’s Department of Treasury, Epylon Corporation, Middle Cities Education Association, Michigan Schools Energy Cooperation, Michigan State University and Michigan Association of School Administrators.

GEORGE W. JACKSON, Jr.
President and Chief Executive Officer of the Detroit Economic Growth Corporation. Prior to the Detroit Economic Growth Corp., George served at DTE for 26 years as Director of Customer Marketing.  Since 1984, he has been influential in the economic development of Detroit and the State of Michigan.

LANA POLLACK
President of the Michigan Environmental Council since 1996.  She is Vice Chair of the Board
of Directors of the National League of Conservation Voters Education Fund and serves on the Michigan Natural Resources Trust Fund Board and the Environmental Advisory Committee for the Michigan Department of Environmental Quality.
