KEITH W. COOLEY, Chief Executive Officer
Keith provides vision and leadership for NextEnergy’s continued growth, sustainability, and the active pursuit of the NextEnergy mission. Before joining NextEnergy, Keith served as Director of Michigan’s Department of Labor and Economic Growth and as CEO of Focus: HOPE, a Detroit civil and human rights organization.  Keith spent two decades at General Motors, rising to Engineering Director for Cadillac and eventually Director, Strategic Planning, for GM Corporate Communications.

KENNETH FIEMA, CPA, Chief Financial Officer
Kenneth is responsible for all of NextEnergy’s financial and reporting functions, as well as for managing the seed and venture funding portfolios and partnerships. Prior to NextEnergy, he worked for Global Technology Associates where he served as the Vice President and the CFO.

DAVE MCLEAN, Chief Operating Officer
Dave is responsible for overseeing the operation of NextEnergy’s microgrid power pavilion, research laboratories, and alternative fuels platform, as well as for all of the organization’s technology collaboration programs. Prior to NextEnergy, Dave has worked as an engineer for several utilities and as a consultant with expertise in energy, environment, health and safety, and quality systems.

DAN RADOMSKI, Vice President, Industry Services
Dan is responsible for NextEnergy’s market development support for alternative energy companies, as well as for facilitating clustered technology working groups, including Hydraulic Hybrid, Wind Energy Manufacturing, the Detroit Area Clean Cities Coalition, and the US-Canada BioEnergy Exchange. Dan has also served as the lead in initiating diversification efforts among Michigan suppliers, primarily in the wind industry– resulting in over $300M in new business awarded to Michigan suppliers in alternative energy markets since 2007. Prior to NextEnergy, Dan spent more than a decade with the Society of Manufacturing Engineers as a leader in new product development, and prior to that in engineering and management positions at a manufacturing company and for a start-up venture.

MARK BEYER, Director, Marketing Communications & Outreach
Mark is responsible for all of NextEnergy’s marketing and communications efforts. Prior to NextEnergy, Mark spent more than two decades as a writer and creative director for marketing and advertising agencies handling national, regional and local accounts in a number of industries, including technology, health and retail.

JAMES SABER, Director, Business Development
Jim is responsible for development of NextEnergy’s collaborative AET Research, Development, and Demonstration programs as well as for leading the organization’s technology development and consulting services. Prior to NextEnergy, Jim spent more than a decade in the energy storage industry, holding product development and business development positions with fortune 500 and start up companies.
